Snowdon Bike Expedition
¨ An overnight bike/camping trip up Snowdon. Bring your tent - we carry it up and pitch it for you during the day while you're chilling out & stocking up on energy & provisions.
¨ After the evening ‘bike curfew’, (biking is restricted on Snowdon between 1st May to 30th September - no biking between 10am and 5pm) we all ride in and camp below the summit. Early the following morning before the curfew we pack up, go up to the summit (with light packs only) and then descend all the way down the Llanberis path.
¨ Rock & Ride will then retrieve your tents for you while you’re breakfasting in Pete’s Eats courtesy of us!
Point to Point Rides
¨ Snowdonia has a lot of riding to offer and a lot of mountains to explore that are not a part of the fantastic world class trails, but just as good. We offer guided rides that literally start on one side of the mountains and finish on the other (any pick ups/drop offs will be arranged as part of the ride).
(Ultimate Outdoors Litespeed in Betws-y-coed offer a free pre-trail check service when you ride with Rock & Ride which your bike must undergo or some very gucchi hire bikes)
Trials Riding
¨ Matt Barlow rides for the British Mountain Bike Aerial Display Team (MAD) performing stunts and jumps at a great height off all sorts of obstacles and his bike hangling skills are worth coming along to learn from. Rock & Ride has direct links with Matt to organise trials tuition.
